18/03/2007 - got letter for first workpermit
29/07/2007 - got passport stamped as came to uk
01/08/2007 - start work with first employer
15/03/2008 - got letter for 2nd workpermit
01/04/2008 - start work with 2nd employer
06/08/2008 - got passport stamped for 2nd workpermit ( as I had 6 months time from 15/03/2008)

When am I due for my ILR as a workpermit holder? I have visa till aug-2013.


Is it 5/07/2012 ( if I count from 01/08/2007)
or 21/02/2012 ( if I count from 18/03/2007)

As per my knowledge, case worker may count 21/02/2012 if my visa expiring soon. But As I have visa till august 2013, not sure when do I need to apply for my IFLR.

is this date you came to UK the first time? If yes then you can apply after completion of 4 yrs and 11 months from this date as you have more than 90 days gap between the work permit date and the date you entered UK.

I came to UK on feb 2005 as student.
BUT, I got entry clearance as work permit holder on 29/07/2007
