Hello Everyone.

I am a newbee on this forum, I need some information on the current rules around the ilr 10 years dependant eligibility criteria.

I am completing my 10 years in Jan 2013. My wife joined me on Feb 2011 as post study partner. I have applied her to be transfer to Tier 1 dependent as i switched in april 2011.

Can anyone tell me if she will be eligible for ilr when i apply in jan 2013. If she is not eligible then which visa she should apply and how to go about it.

regards
Habsimak

Thank you for your reply. Can you advise as to what is the minimum time a dependant should be in UK before applying for ILR if the main applicant is applying under 10 years long residence rule.

Is it 2 years as ILR's dependent to get PR or if they have spend 2 years in uk with the main applicant who is applying for ILR on the basis of 10 years long residency can also apply?
