Please help me in assessing my ILR prospect:

I came to UK on WP in June 2007. My 1 Year visa expired in June 2008. My employer applied for my visa and I got 5 year WP (from June 2008 – June 2013).
But, I changed my employment in March 2010. My LWD in Company A was 5th March 2010. I went to India and joined new employer (Company B) on 8th March 2010. They started processing my Tier 2 (G) and after getting visa I entered UK on 30 April / 01 May 2010. I’m working with that employer till now.

My question is :
1. Will this (Gap) affect ILR application??
2. My WP (G) will expire 15 days before I’ll be eligible for ILR?? Should I get Tier2 (G) renewed ??

as far as I know your gap is classed as break in leaves as such your clock has reset so you will qualify for ILR 5 years after march 2010, I would advice you seek legal advice as I may be wrong. Perhaps more experienced people can confirm this.
