Dear seniors
Just a very quck questoin and again on behalf of my friend. He is on Tier 1 General.
i know there is a limit of 90 days, that one cannot stay outside the UK for ILR in one go.
Is it possible if my friend, can go and comeback in 40 days in his one trip and during the same year pay another visit for 60 days outside the UK, which in total makes 100 days for the same year. Is it allowed and does not effect ILR?
I also know that 5 years in total, he can only do 180 holidays.
Please if anyone can confirm.
Many thanks

if he needs an urgent answer then perhaps he should pay for professional advice, or even bother to post the question himself?!

why s/he does not post by himself? Why is s/he depending on you (third party)? Is s/he shy? Scare of us?

It should be fine .... come back within 90 days and not exceeding 180 days ...if you take care of these 2 thing you are fine.

Greenie, thanks for your advice. You know, he tried seeking professional advice too, but it is just nothing can be done quickly in this country. So, I thought, might posting here would save him from trouble and ofcourse some money indeed.
Thanks Pkumar, you rock. So, this is safe to do.

most of the time i have noticed people who are asking question on behalf of their friends are actually the ones who are pretending to be in others shoes.
