My Initial visa was Supervised practise Nurse visa -entered UK on 5/9/ 2008

Tier 2 General - 12/5/2009 till 6/6/2014

Left to India on Maternity Leave from 1/3/2010-17/9/2010

When can I apply for ILR?I know its too early but this will help me to plan well ahead

Will my maternity leave affects my ILR ; I paid NI and my salary came to my UK account.

My husband joined me on 1/7/2009 and my sons on 17/9/2010 when can they apply for ILR

Continuous period in the UK may have been broken, unless maternity leave is considered as compelling grounds of a compassionate nature.

If it's not compelling grounds of a compassionate nature, then you and dependants may be eligible for ILR from Thursday, 20 August 2015.

Try to get a written answer from the UKBA.
