Hi,

I arrived in Uk on 11/03/2007 on work permit. I was not in uk for 101 days from 05/01/2008 till 20/04/2008 as My wife was pregnant I for her delivery I went to India. As I wanted to bring my kid and wife with me and Kid was not allowed to travel till she complets 3 Months I finally travelled on 20/04/2008 (Doctor has given the certificate).

After April 2008 I am in Uk and Total absence is around 145 days Including the 101 days break.

I shifted to Tier 1 Genereal in April 2009 which is valid till 1/04/2012.
I wish to apply for ILR. Is there any chance? Appointment is booked on 26/03/2012. This is quite urgent.

Thanks

Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. You should bring all proofs that your stay out of UK was for compelling reasons including UK payslips from from 05/01/2008 till 20/04/2008 showing you were economically active. If your ILR gets rejected, all is not lost, just apply for a Tier 1 extension and retry ILR next year.
