Hi,

Please could you advise if last 2 yrs bank statements would be sufficent for cohab proof for wife.

The bank account is joint one with my wife...

do we need ant other proofs ?

It all depends on the CW; sometime they just for a one document and some times they can ask for more. I advise to take as many as possible.

The details of cohab docs are mentioned in the guidence notes of ILR(M).

You need to produce three different proofs if you hold joint accounts and approx 6 proofs if you hold separate accounts.

The word ACCOUNT is not restricted to bank account. it could be a letter from GP, a credit card statement, bill from United Utilites, a TV licence etc.

Can you explain what is "A Letter from GP".

My situation is -

I been in uk for 5 years

In last 2 years (with my wife)
I was in hampshire county for 1.5 years
and currently in surrey for last 6 months

What can I get from Surrey-GP (recent one) ?

You can ask for NHS registration history. The current GP should provide you with the all the information. Sometime the GP will ask you to contact the previous GPs for previous registration history.

I could only manage
joint bank account statements upto 2 yrs

council tax bill upto 22 months at the presnt address

would that be siufficent for cohab proof
