ILR from Tier 1 general

just wondering whether we need to provide proof of earnings for the period before we were granted tier 1 visa

In the last section it says



For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the immigration rules then
as specified in section 9A

I think the letter (which you were given at the time of Tier-1 approval) should be enough to prove it. You can also carry P60s with you and can provide if asked.

it clearly says evidence in 9a which would mean providing two types of documentation even for the period before tier 1 , would have thought

any more views??
