Can somebody pls inform me if the questions in the actual LIUK test are similar (or even the same) to tbe questions that have been kindly inlcuded in the sticky section here?
Also, if you do nopt pass it 1st time, you can give it again, right?
Many thanks.

Hi,
The test is not the same for everyone, questions are different per person in the test room and are generated by the computer.
I found when I did my test that the questions I got were identical to the official Home Office book from TSO, which I read once and then did loads of practice questions in the official Home Office TSO Practice Questions book.
If you do not pass you can do it again, although you have to pay again, but will need to do it at least 2 days before a PEO appointment.
Good luck
C.

You can take as many as you want but there is a minimum 7days between exams.
You will have to wait a minimum of 7 days to take the test again

Also it take a couple of days to notify UKBA.

You need to read the official test questions...2nd edition. Here's the link to the book:

You can try
www.gocitizen.co.uk which is very informative (suggested by one of from this board). My wife was failed two times in LIUK and we tried above and she was cleared her test last week. Just make sure you read all the chapters and question/answer. Also you can borrow the book from your local library namely Life in UK Test 2012 edition. I think this is more than enough.
Don’t panic. Just send me a PM if you need any more information.
Good Luck.

Hi
Just try to do a google about "key points for life in the UK" they'll also help you a lot. They're mainly the summary for all the 6 chapters with important stuff to remember for your test.
Good luck for your test.

my two cents, please buy the official book and there are two study guides. I did this a week ago, pulled an all nighter but passed.

If it helps, you can choose to listen to the questions on headphones during the test, while reading from the screen.

I used
http://www.lifeintheunitedkingdomtest.co.uk/
as free online info for reading materials. It is based on the old version of the official book thus have some differences. But most parts are right.
http://www.hiren.info/life-in-the-uk-test/1
has 55 tests you can do to practice. From what I have experienced, the actual test seems easier than them

With respect, it's no good studying from a source where 'most parts are right'.
Read the latest edition of the official study book.

You most definitely DO NOT need to do 55 exams !
or ready the chapters 2-6 of the handbook.
Just google
life in the uk test chapter summery
and google

or try

As I have repeated many a time, this is a very simple exam !, you do not need to buy anything, just pay for the exam, and use the free online resources for preparation.
