ILR application submitted without supporting documents

Hello I hope someone can help with this question

I applied for ILR SET M ,many weeks later I noticed I sent the old version form so knowing the consequences of it and trying to prevent it I sent the latest version .

2 days after , the original application came back invalid along with all documents ,so it crossed, that decision was dated exactly the day I posted the new form but they received it one day later , decision was already made .

The problem now is when I sent the new form all the supporting documents was with them ,so I just sent the latest form with a covering letter explaining I did want to reemplace the old form and I mentioned in the letter that the supporting documents was with them .

They charged the fee of this new form ,so I guess they treat it like a fresh application , they sent me the acknowledgment letter telling it have been passed to a caseworker .

I spoke with an immigration advisor to ask wether or not is good to send back again all the supporting documents , he said is not necesary as they will link it to the case and they took copies of all of it

Do you think it is like that ?

Marian2012 it would be easier if you stuck to one thread? Are you saying that the form you submited with with old front page but with the rest of the form being the current version was sent back as invalid?
