EEA (FM) Please Help

Post by nazmul2010 » Wed Dec 28, 2016 10:36 pm

Hi there I have submitted my eea fm application on the 28/11/16. The application was sigend and recieved by HO(home office) on the 29/11/16. Since then they haven't taken any payment and also no request for biometric. I have had my first 5 years eea resindence permit on the 13/12/11. Not applying permanent residency as my wife is not qualified because for that last 5 years I was on full time continous employment and my wife was full time house wife with our 2 childrens (5 & 3 years old).

I am really really worried as I lost my job and my wife is working parttime starting in October 2016. Called HO 4 times to ask why they are not taking any payment or request for biomatric. 2 times they fogged me off, 3rd time advisor told me she is passing my details to a case worker and will recieve call from them 3-5 working days. waited 7 working days without recieving any call again called back. This time advisor told me about the same referrel process and 3-5 working days call back. Explained that I was promised same thing before and he said he cant help me without that process.

Luckily had a call within 30 minutes from a case worker. She advised taking payment can take upto 8 weeks along with biomatric request. Also advised HO is having some issues for taking payment which I doubt the case. When I am checking the forum most of the fellow members suggesting within week HO is taking payment. Why they haven't taken my payment? :(

Please advise and help me what to do, My wife going to job interview and without original passport they not gonna take her. I can not work untill COA. She can not get benefits as she is working 17.5 hours a week. And also if finding job not getting due to original passport. How to get her passport back so that she can start employment or we will be on the street from next month.

What to do about HO?
How to get my wifes passport?

Ask your MP to investigate, although unclear what can realistically be done at this early stage.

You only applied last month.
There has been Christmas in the meantime and New Year is coming.

You may not hear any result until next April or May and should plan accordingly.

If I ask ukba to return my wife's passport for the sake of her new job criteria and then again send them back to continue their process will it be possible?

We have 2 children's and don't want to be homeless.

Please let me know.

If I ask ukba to return her passport will it affect my application?
Will they again ask me to send her passport back?
If so how I will send them her passport again?

Also wanted to ask wegiwegi that have ukba taken your payment or not?

Thanks

No, they did not, I asked that lady on the phone, and she said, that will take 6 weeks, weird seems to me, we will wait and see, they signed that they have the application there, so I know they have our passports and other papers. Not much can be done, just we have to wait to see what is going on.
