Expediting EEA residence application due to Medical urgency

Post by oleburdo » Thu Feb 23, 2017 1:40 pm

Hello everyone,
Could anyone advise, please, how we can ask HO to expedite our relative's application for PR as she needs to travel overseas for treatment. The UK doctors are unable to save an organ and we want to try to do it abroad. Also, does anyone know if such a request may have a negative impact on the application outcome?
Thank you very much in advance.

Pages 44 -45 expediting an EEA decision
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... s-v5_0.pdf

Some more helpful info: https://www.freemovement.org.uk/expedit ... plication/

But do remember you can still travel without an EEA Residence card.
Request your Passport back from here: https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml

I wish you the best hope everything works out

I have the same issue. If I leave the country while waiting for my residence card, will I be allowed back?!

Hi, there, thank you very much for your replies.
Yes, I am very worried and the relative may have a trouble when coming back or is risking to overstay her visa as we don't know how long the treatment may take...
