Hi,

I wanted if this restriction applies to me, I am an EU national my wife is non eu and is on family member of EU permit here.
I claim child benefit on my name was wondering if I am allowed or not.

The restriction for no recourse to public funds doesn't apply to family members of EEA Nationals. You may receive benefits if you meet the eligibility requirements. However depending on your status as a qualified EEA National in the UK, if you are residing as self-sufficient applying for benefits would put that into jeopardy
