EEA EFM residence card application online status

Post by ddyy1125 » Thu Aug 17, 2017 4:21 pm

Hi all, I have applied for EEA EFM residence card on 18th March and it's been 5 months. Before 9th August I can use the royal mail tracking number to track my application status online and it said awaiting a decision and it was updated on 21st April. Since 9th August the RM tracking number has not been recognised neither of my case ID (case ID never worked). Now i am serious worried about what does this mean potentially. Does anyone have the same situation? Do you know what does that mean?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi ddyy1125

Your case id should definitely work. please make sure to exclude the zero as it won't work if use the zero.

Best of luck

Hi brighton,

Thanks so much for your reply.

I tried case ID without 0, it's not working. Actually it's never worked. At this moment nothing is working for me. I am very worried and don't know what to do.

Hi my online status changed on 9th September stating it has been decided on 6th and I received my RC on 14 September.
Hi Rkohdi, this is my timeline:

EEA unmarried partner (Chinese) and EEA QP (French) applied together online:

Application posted on: 19/03/2017
Confirmation email: 20/03/2017
HO received: 21/03/2017
Bio letter received on: 29/04/2017
Biometrics Enrolled on: 02/05/2017

COA With Work: 13/05/2017 (dated 10/05/2017)
I have applied for EEA FP therefore I received COA WITH work.

Status Changed to 'Decided': 06/09/2017
Before 9th Sep my case ID was not recognised and on 9th it suddenly showed decided on 6th September.

Decision granting the residence card + QP certificate + documents returned: 13/09/2017
Residence Card Received: 14/09/2017

We provided every possible documents we could think of, everything. We moved in together since August 2014 but we didn't have tenant agreement with both our names except the most recent one which started from April 2016. We also don't have bills with both our names because my partner has been taking all the bills.

Also I have applied EEA FP three times and got rejected once before I apply for EEA RC. The second time I applied for FP they rejected me unreasonably and then I reapplied immediately and got it.

Hope this helps!

To the original poster, ddyy1125: Your EEA EFM Unmarried partner situation is particularly close to our situation and I would be really interested to discuss with you further. We are unmarried partners of more than 3 years, living together for nearly two years, but with only 1 year 4 months of proof of cohabitation.

Please get in touch with me if you don't mind. I would like to know specifically what additional evidence oyu provided. Frankly, we've already collected TONNES of evidence, including more than a dozen statements from friends and family who have known us for varying lengths of time, stating that we are in a long-term and durable relationship, and recalling times we've all spent together. We've also collected lots of other bits and pieces to demonstrate a durable relationship, but you may be able to provide some golden nuggets of advice.

I don't think I can exchange my email and I can't PM you for some reason... So let's chat on this thread for now.

Thanks
