Hey Noajthan and everyone
Happy New Year to you all

Is there any chance I can get some help with section 3 of EEA3 form?
This formhttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/128 ... ple_v2.pdf
Section 3.1 asks to tick a box to show how I've exercisex treaty rights for last 5 years.
But I would like to provide evidence for just over 6 years, this so I can apply immediately for citizenship.
My full time employement started in 2008, but do I need to put this date or can I use 2010?
PS: I worked part of NVQ course which I cannot find proof for anymore. Blue Card came in Feb 2010 which gave me full rights.
Section 3.3 - do I have to add all the Qualifying years or all the years I've been in this country?
Please some help ..
Thank you

The form is just a framework.
You may add further information as an additional sheet or in a cogent cover letter.
Add all the timelines plus details of activities.
Caseworker will figure it out.

Good luck and may 2017 be your year.

Thank you for reply

I'm not clear though..do you mean all the timelines since my arrival in 2008?
I can prove the full time work as a placement for NVQ, but can't prove the NVQ.
Although my Blue Card was released at that time, in the base of me providing evidence of work and doing the NVQ with the College, NOW I cannot prove doing any NVQ since the College says it doesn't have the information.
I haven't got the date for Yellow Card either.
What do I do?

I would put all timelines since entry (2008 if that's when it was).
You can only add dates and details that you know.
Otherwise estimate - and explain the reason for the estimate and lack of detail in a note; for example: "college records no longer available".

Can I not avoid this?
I mean 7 qualifying years is more than enough, is there no way to completely omit the period previously Feb 2010(Blue Card)?
If I do would it not get me in trouble, by giving them " too much" information?
Of course they have the info, but do I really need to point it out to them?

Ulltimately its your call what you submit and what you vouch for.
Its worth observing there is no 'judgement' and no good character test applied to this type of application.
The application either succeeds or it fails and is refused.
In that case apply again later if you acquire PR later, there is no ban on applying.

Sorry about late reply, I was at work

Maybe I misread your post..but as you presented Noajthan, is there one option or 2 options -as it seems to me on second read?
1)I would put all timelines since entry (2008 if that's when it was).
You can only add dates and details that you know.
2)Otherwise estimate - and explain the reason for the estimate and lack of detail in a note; for example: "college records no longer available".
If there are 2 options I'm thinking of first 1)as best one..second being more apologetic and problematic.
If just one option(I hope not), than I have to estimate - you mean NVQ duration?

Please reply to me when you can
Thank you millions

I covered all scenarios with a simple action plan..

Focus on step #1

If you have gaps then try approach #2.
Or any other you can come up with.

Okay
One more question..and I'm ready to send it tomorrow
The EEA3 form is asking if I have a Home Office reference number. Well, I have a reference number from Blue Card and letter that came with it. Should I use it on the form, or leave it blank?

You can use it. If it makes sense it may help HO caseworker trace your history.
If its the wrong type of number you won't be penalised for it.

Good luck.

Thanks alot buddy.
Just spoke to a person at HO minute ago..she told me quote
" You must hold the PR card for 1 year, and under no circumstances, regardless of how many years of residency proof you have(I told her 7), you will be able to apply for citizenship before. If you do you will lose your money. I apologise for all my colleagues that previously told you otherwise(I've spoken in the past 4 months with other 3-4 people), but you will lose your money £1050 if you apply before 1 year has lapsed"

I have tried to explain that is important when the Residence has been aquired, she would not have any of this, and said this is not the case anymore.
I have asked to speak to someone else for a second opinion she said they will tell you the same. When rang again same person answered, so I've hang up.

Is this true?? Because if it is, I've wasted my time last 4 months, gathering these documents...I'm really baffled

PS: this is the number I've rang 03001232253

No, helpline is absolutely incorrect. And not for first time.
Disregard helpline advice.
You are on right track.

Hey guess what :D
Just received my application - Successful.
One minor thing..
letter says I've aquired permanent residence in 2013- I've arrived in 2008. All ok here.
Month is the same, although the date in the month is about 2 weeks before 5 years would've lapsed since my arrival.
Eg: first arrived UK 25th Feb 2008, aquired permanent residence 10 Feb 2013.

Maybe I don't remember right the date of my first arrival, but nevertheless the month is sure. Would this still be alright?

Well done with the PR!

For BC you should post in the BC Board - welcome.

Hey guys
I'm Gaston but for some reason can't log in so I had to create another user.
Got the PR and getting ready to apply for BC.
But...I've noticed few weeks ago that HO has not returned all my documents(missing 2xP60's, P45, few payslips, landlord letter etc) - back in February when I've got the PR card.
I've rang this number 0300 123 2253 and asked the lady at the other end if I'm gonna need these for BC. The answer I've got twice as asked her to make sure, was " I do not know sir you gotta read the booklet we're only here to guide you".
What can I do?
Will the HMRC paperwork (national insurance and tax)for those years suffice?
Do I have to get the ex landlord to redact another letter?
I've posted these on BC section but got no answer.
Please some help would be great
