Hi All,
I'm an EEA national and my husband (non-EEA) got an EEA2 residence card.
I need to move out of the UK for job-related purposes: Would my husband residence be affected?
Thanks in advance.

How long is the job for? Is it still within the EU? Are you moving permanently out of the UK?

The job is initially for 2 months, with possibility of extension.
It is not in Europe, but I am not thinking of moving permanently out of the UK.
My intention is to make the UK my permanent residence.
Thanks.

This is fine and will not break your or your partner residency as according to the regulation:
The Immigration EEA Regulations - 3(2) wrote:Continuity of residence is not affected by —
(a)periods of absence from the United Kingdom which do not exceed six months in total in any year;
(b)periods of absence from the United Kingdom on military service; or
(c)any one absence from the United Kingdom not exceeding twelve months for an important reason such as pregnancy and childbirth, serious illness, study or vocational training or an overseas posting.
