Hello,

My Tier 5 Working Holiday Visa ends next month so I am wondering:

If I don't receive my RC before my Visa runs out, can i still travel in and out of England on my COA? I work in the UK and have a flat etc so I need to stay here, but would love to book a trip to Belgium with friends but am worried I wont be allowed back in.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks,

Are you married or in a civil partnership with an EEA national? Are you planning to return before or after the expiry of your Working Holiday leave?

Nope we have been together 8 years - so defacto.

And I plan to be away when my visa expires.

Assuming from your username that you are a Kiwi, than you should have no problem entering the UK with the CoA.

The main issue people face is boarding the flight but as a non-visa national that's not an issue. Once you get to the border, the IO should let you in with the CoA.

That is great news! I was getting very worried. Considering I will be entering with my defacto partner (who is Irish) hopefully nothing will go wrong.

Although, when my Visa is up next month, I would have been waiting 6 months for my RC so fingers crossed I should have it by then anyway. :) :)
