I have similar problem, but in my case we have stared the divorce proceeding.

My 5yrs RC will expire in July.

I am not sure which application to make, PR or ILR.

I have been a student and working as well for about 4yrs.

She is not ready to cooperate in anyway.

We lived together for 4yrs and she was working even before then. I don't know about now as communication died ages ago.

Decree nisi is expected any time soon.

What should I apply for next month?

Thanks!

Because you guys stayed with your wives for more than 3 years before separation you have retained rights of residence even if you divorce. you will just have to show the caseworker that during the period you were together SHE was still exercising her treaty rights non stop. yes you should apply for PR
