Can anyone advise which options to choose in the online application system when applying for entry clearance to the UK under Chen rules? The system has Visit, Work, Study, Settle or Other. Would this be 'Other'?

Please help, I am a bit confused: there is guidance on forms etc once a person is already in the UK, but not clear how to get an entry clearance under these rules.

Sorry. a typo. You should choose "other" and then "EEA Family Permit".

BTW - is the child already in the UK?

Hi Jambo,

Thanks - clear now. No, the child will be coming together with the mother - does it make a difference in terms of the application/supporting docs?
