Hi guys

My 22 year old brother is finishing up his course at university so he is currently under a student visa

I have been supporting him and paying his fees. Now given I have bank statements to prove that he dependant on myself and my EEA partner

Any advice on this?

You mean he has no other source of finance and lives with you? Even if you say yes, I think the fact that he did not enter the in that capacity under an EEA Permit will make your notion a complete non-starter. Good luck.

Not neccesarily so.

See para 10

I agree that entering as a student and not family member will make any application more onerous.

well he did enter as a student but my dad retired so it was up to me to support him

So is it worth applying? or should he just go back home
