Naturalisation without EEA4?

I am a family member of EU national. I am now aware that EEA4 is not a must requirement to apply for UK Naturalisation via form AN but 5 years(RC) + 1(PR)year rule applies.

I had received my EEA2 in October 2007 but I was married to my EU partner since August 2007 and on the day of the marriage, she was exercising her EU rights as a student and had insurance for herself.

If my understanding is correct, I can apply for naturalisation in August 2013 as it meets 5 +1 requirement for family member ?

Since we have been living together from October 2006 - I have proof of contracts and utilities etc, would that mean, I qualify for naturalisation now even though I wasn't married in October 2006 but was in a "durable relationship" with an EU national.

Time before marriage only counts if you had been issued a Residence Card as unmarried partner which I believe is not your case.
