Is child benefit will effect EEA2 application

I am a EEA national,have applied for EEA 2 for my wife and child, got the COA but not RC.
Last month i applied for child benefit,working tax credit and child tax credit i received a letter from H and M revenue asking for further documents they have asked for my child passport.
is it ok to send them COA instead of passport if its does is it going to effect my wife and child application EEA2.
Please do reply someone i will appreciate

What is your status in the UK. Are you a worker or Self- Employed person.
If you are a worker, which i supect is the case, then those benefits you mentioned should not have much effect on their application. You have to send their ID. it is a requirement.

Thanks Obie,yes i am a worker, so i will have to wait till their passport come from home office because they dont have any other ID is there any alternative.

Hi my wife has also made the claim and it is in process
But she sent only for child benefit and tax credits claim still to be posted.
I have sent my kids birth certificates and coa for the one whose application was sent. Hmrc said they will let us know about deciaion of application we received birthcertificates back
Will be sending application for tax credits soon

Update
Today we got the child benefit in our account
So birth certificates and coa would suffice

Thanks for update Dradilmahmood I have send original birth certificate and COA let c wht happens I will update.

Last month me and my wife have started studying and we have applied for student finance and maintenance grand i just want to know is that going to effect my wife application for EEA4 and my application EEA3 please some one advice i will appreciate.

You may find
thisuseful.
Do bear in mind that the college/university has a student adviser who will answer all such questions.
