Hi, everyone, Just need your help about when can I apply the eea4 PR.

I first come to UK as a student visa in 2006, then in 2008, I got the tier-2 work permit until 2011, then I married to my husband, then changed to EEA2 RESIDENT card until now, can I apply EEA4 now, or I have to wait until 2016(after I have eea2 for 5 years)?

Thanks all of you for the answer!!!

you have to complete 5 years with your husband, ie if you married in jan 2012 then you can apply jan 2017

Your time for achieving PR started from the day of wedding with EEA national and EEA national must have been excercising its treaty rights by working, studying, self employment, self sufficient etc. The time you spent earlier on Tier2 (workpermit) cannot be counted because under European LAW only the EEA national activities are relevant.
