Hello everyone
I have been following this forum for quite a while and it's my pleasure to say that u guys are amazing and it will be my humble pleasure if anyone can suggest to me on what to do next regarding to my eea4 application made in late august 2012.Here is my timeline,
Application for eea4 sent on 30/08/2012,
UKBA received application on 31/08/2012,
COA received on 18/10/2012,
PR still waiting.
My MP has only contacted UKBA through a letter and still no reply yet and my solicitor through whom i applied have also contact UKBA and still no reply and i ring them everyday and all they are saying is that my case have not been completed yet that i have to wait.
I would also like to know if anyone out there applied around the same period of time, many thanks.

they have up to 6 months to make decision, so contacting between that time doesn't help, so my suggestion is to wait. I have waited 5months 3 weeks before getting decision.

Ive been living in Uk for the last 10 years, im in a civil partnership since 2008...my resident card is expired begging of October 2014...my partner has all the documents necessaries to show...but I have a mix of documents like statements, employer letters, payslips or the last 5 years... Don't know If I should go to a solicitor(?)...they are charging £1200 for a eea4 form that cost just £55. Also I just found out that is now necessary have a health care insurance. so we have done one, last minute, to answer this request on the form. Should I take to a solicitor or should I do by myself?????? thx

No it won't affect your PR - for PR your EU Family Member has to have been exercising treaty rights for 5 years continuously (I am assuming your EU Family member is not British here).
