It appears that the UK will in principle allow holders of Residence Card issued by Estonia and Germany to travel to the UK without the EEA family permit, although changes to the EEA regulations has not yet been made to achieve this.

This matter was long overdue indeed. Shame it took 6 years.

See Case

does this mean someone who has been issued with a EEA permit from the Spanish government would be allowed into the UK without a visa.

I mean will a Non European Spouse of a Spanish national be allowed to come & work in the UK as of now 2013. The NON EEA got married in Spain with a Spanish National.

Urgent response needed.

Thank you.

if your travelling with the spanish national, and can get to the border, you will not be turned away providing you have proof of your ID, proof of relationship and proof spouse is a eea national

The UK does not recognise other EU countries' residence cards and would expect the applicant to have a family permit.

With regards to your answer what he needs to do is to apply for a EEA family permit from Spain for the united kingdom.

Once he gets that then he can come to
England.

Is that correct.
