Hi all

I received my RC as non-eea family member in august last year, valid until 2017.
I managed to gain employment within a week of getting my RC, but just recently lost my job.
I have also engaged in full time education within a month of receiving my RC.Will the fact I am not working affect my PR-EEA4 application in any way?
My partner is exercising her treaty rights by working.
I am now taking my employer to the tribunal in relation to the circumstances I was laid off, and I have the prospect of getting into work after the college course is over. I will continue to further study.

That is all that matters. You don't need to be doing anything. Your residence rights and eligibility for PR are derived from your parter; he or she is the person who must exercise treaty rights.

Thanks.
I knew on the back of my mind it was ok, but I just cant help to think I jeopardised the whole thing by not being able to work.

Hi i would need to apply for a permanent residence in a year was wondering regarding payslips woUldale they need one for every month for the 5 years from me and my eea husband. Another thing my husband has been in the UK for 24 years now so it would be complicated explaining his activities for all those years as requested in the application and last thing my husband can apply for a British passport if he gets one could I still apply for a permanent residence. Thank you would be grateful for any answer
