I got married to my German wife on the 08/03/2013.Soon after our marriage we applied for my visa, we have just recently received a letter inviting us for us an interview on the 12.07.2013. In the letter there are certain documents that are required, there is one in concern for us and that is council tax receipts for the last two years, I unfortunately dont have any apart from the last two months since I stayed in a house share agreement where the monthly amount paid would cover my council tax and utility bills. Now i have my interview in a week and half time please do advice what is the best option for me. I am a Nepali citizen.

Be sure to ask for them to pay for your travel expenses to the interview. You can also reschedule it if you desire, or or provide other evidence of your ongoing marriage as an alternative.

You are not required to have council tax registration. You don't even need technically to be living together.
