The date both partners separated has nothing to do with divorce at all and is irrelevant for RoR. The court does not care and neither does the HO. The date you apply for the DA is irrelevant for all intents and purposes, at least when it comes to the EU immigration rules. And no, the date when you applied for DA won't be mentioned. There will be the date the Decree Absolute was issued, since it is the official date when the marriage is dissolved and you are free to remarry. There will be the date when the divorce petition was received by the court.
