Hi all,

Could you please advise me on following.
I'm not EU citizen.
I got married to EU citizen in August 2008.
We got divorced last year and I obtained EEA2 RRR card in January 2014.
The question is can I apply directly for naturalisation in August 2014? If yes do I need to provide only my docs for previous 6 years?

Thank youn advance for your help.
Regards

Big NO

You can send your documents if you apply on Jan 2020

If you apply before you need to send yours + Your ex EEA family member.

for example : If you apply in 2014 Aug you must send EEA national exercise treaty right until divorce finalised.

Why didn't you apply PR direct look like it's already 5 years

If I apply for PR, then do I need to show 5 years of ex-wife exercising treaty rights? The problem that she hasn't been employed 2008-2010 and there is no insurance. Or I will need to show only myself for the last 5 years?
Thx.

What documents you send for EEA2 ( resident card ) if she wasn't working in 2008 ? and also what documents you send for ROR application?

If there is a gap then count 5 years from 2010 when she started working again but still you have to show her exercise treaty right until divorce finalised . 2010 - 2013 your Ex Wife and 2013 - 2015 Yours for PR
