Hello All,
I am a Czech citizen and have lived in the UK for over 10 year ...I traveled to Czech in the month of October with my daughter who was born in England and she is 7 year old, we both traveled out of the UK on my passport .
I wanted to returned to the Uk after a 7 day visit to Prague but to my surprise i was told my daughter can not travel out of the Czech to the Uk without her personal passport. I went immediately to the Czech passport office in Prague to apply for a passport for my daughter . I submitted a her UK birth certificate along the application form ,after 2 weeks i got letter from the passport office that i should submit my passport to the embassy which i did but it over 2 months now the passport is not ready and my passport is yet to be returned to me.I have remained in Prague since then.
Please ,i need help what can i do to effect quick release of the passport.

according to this link the processing time for new Czech passports is 30 days in the Czech Republic:

have you applied for a Czech passport for your daughter at the Czech passport office or for a UK passport at the British Embassy?

I submitted passport at Czech passport office in Prague.

I finally got update from Passport office in Prague that my child's UK birth certificate had been forwarded to Apostile Certificate UK for authentication .
I really want to know how long its take the office to authenticate such certificate.

you could have done the legalisation of your daughter's birth certificate yourself had you known that it was necessary:

how the Czech Passport Office go about the legalisation you need to ask them but there are also private companies who act as intermediaries. Google "Apostille certificate UK"

My partner is here on a visit visa and he has lived in the UK for over 2 years.
Is it possible we get marry here and how can i go about this?

Jesús, 30 quid to appostille a document, what a joke, it only costed me 6 quid to legalise my marriage certificate in Switzerland, they take the mikey really in here.

what is your partner's nationality?

My partner is a Ghanaian, he is here in the uk with a 5 year visitor visit.

5 year visitor visit

That doesn't permit him to live here for 5 years continuously. Visitors are generally not permitted to stay in the UK on a visitor visa for more than 6 months in a 12 month cycle.

How has he supported himself for over 2 years?

He has been getting support from me and his family from Ghana.
please i will like to know if we can get marry here and how can we go about it?
