Hi,

Can someone please tell me, if I apply for EEA residence card in UK which is valid for 5 years and when I get, then after 5 years can I apply for the permanent residence card in any Schengen Country OR I can only apply for Permanent Residence Card in UK?

In the pursuit of permanent residence the EU national partner must exercise its treaty rights in UK for 5 years which cannot be excersied from outside of UK. Moreover, a non-eu national has to maintain its residence too in UK. Usually 6 months of absence does not affect the residence.
