Please could someone advise, I am a non eea married an eea since 2008

I have had the 6 month visa on arrival and was issued the 5year eea resident stamp in my passport.

However after 6years I applied for citizenship and was refused, because my partner has not worked throughout the past 5 years.

Anyhow the home office said I should apply for permanent residence. But I would think the requirements are the same as for citizenship.

Is it ok for me to apply for ee2 for the second time, as without it i cannot travel work or do anything really.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Requirements are not the same for PR as for naturaliation. Suggest research on Gov UK website.

Yes, apply for EAA2 & use RC to clarify your status with anyone who needs to know.
