Hi there,

My partner and I are applying for a residence card (EEA2) as unmarried partners. I'm a non-EU and have been living in the UK from September 2010. My girlfriend is an EU national, who does a PhD in Psychology. I'm also currently a 2nd year PhD student in Scotland. We have been in a long-term relationship since 2012. My Tier4 expires on 01/06/2018. We have lived together since March 2013 at a common address. I just applied for as an unmarried partner on 17/08/2015. Below are the documents I plan to submit. I have not gotten any response whatsoever; the application fee has not been debited either. Is there anything to be worried about?

Proof of exercising treaty rights by me (EU-national):
- confirmation of student status from the university
- a letter from the head of my school confirming my student status
- Our individual bank statements
- Her EU passport
- My passport (including my residence card)
- tenancy agreement (under in both names)

Does the EEA partner (I am presuming that s/he is a student) have either CSI or an EHIC Card from another (non-UK) EEA country? If not, s/he will not be considered as exercising treaty rights and the application will likely fail on that point.

@Secret.simon, an EHIC card was submitted as well. Sorry for the omission.
