Same as my husband, we applied for eea2 on the 11th. I guess coming up to Xmas they are super busy we just have to be patient.

i havent contacted them, to be honest i dont think it will yeild anything but let me know what they say when u call them. we expected the biometric letter after 2 weeks but hoepfully it will come soon

Have you gotten your COA from the Home Office?

I believe with COA you should be fine to work with it, although some employer may wish to confirm it from Home Office. Best of Luck

as zubby correctly said, biometric letter doesnt confer right to work, you have to wait to receiev ur COA and then u will be able work as long as it permits cos have heard of cases where people have been issued with COA WITHOUT WORK. cant really understand that. but as soon as my husband recieves his coa will keep u posted.

Am in the same boat as you, am waiting for the COA too and my employer wants to carry out an ecs check after I showed them the biometric letter. My current residence card runs out end of December and I think the ECS check will fail because I haven't been issued COA yet!
I hope I don't lose my job over this
