Claiming JSA would effect EEA2?

Hi everyone!
What if I (only me brit citizen) get job seekers allowance/housing benefit when apply for the EEA2 for my non EU spouse? I mean would it effect my non eu spouse EEA2 application when I claim as a brit citizen? Please share your experience guys and I would highly appreciated it.

Yeah it is surinder singh route to UK so it will not effect the non eu EEA2 application?
