Hi everyone
I received my EEA residence card on A4 paper because i asked for my passoprt back, but i had issues many times with border officers outside from the UK.
I just wonder if i can exchange my Immigration Status Document with a Biometric Residence Permit ?? If yes want i need to do and which application i must apply for?

When did you apply for your EEA permit ? And when you received your permit ?

I applied on 28 of November 2014and i received my residence card march 2015

thanks for your reply. i dont think you will be able to get biometric card unless you apply again, this is a waste of time. this is because there was not any bio metric requirement the time you applied.
since April 2015 Bio-metric rule in place for family member of an EEA national#

Apply again and wait over 4 months, thats so sad !!

You can get a BRC in exchange for your paper document.
You can apply in person if you already have an RC.

Thanks Chris but that application is for someone who got already the brp but me I haven't got one yet

No Amine .you'd have to pay the fee for it but you can get a brp instead of your visa.
