Hey Guys,

I have just come back from my holiday in Portugal Wednesday, after unpacking my bags and trolleys I have realised I have lost my passport with my EEA2 residence card,

I will go tomorrow to report my lost passport and I will apply for a new passport tomorrow as well.

I got here copies of my residence card, plus a letter from HO when I received my residence card.

I know under EU regulations is not possible to re-issue a residence card, but does anyone here know how long time will take? another 6 months of waiting?

or maybe it will take less time due I have had a previous residence card?

My husband is Portuguese National and we both study and work, should I mention that? or it's better only send his payslips and work contract as we did in the past?

:?

Please if anyone of you been through the same situation I would highly appreciate how long it had take to you get a new residence card.

Regards

Jeff

DO you happen to have an Indefinite Leave To Remain ?

The OP writes "EEA2" card, so no PR. For clarity, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) is not applicable to the EEA route.
