Travelling back to uk and Thailand

Hi, I'm currently living in Greece with my Thai wife. We plan to apply for EEA family permit after a few months. I do however need to travel back and forwards to the UK for family matters and she will more than likely need to return to Thailand for a few weeks for her sisters wedding.

Does this cause problems regarding being resident in Greece with regards obtaining family permit? When an application goes in do they check flight information to see where you have been and where your centre of life is.

Sorry if this has been covered before but I'm using an idiot-phone 5 and searching previous topics while sitting on a beach wall is not that easy.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Not sure how many psychics read these forums. It may help if you give more details about yourself too.

Are you British and working in Greece, etc?

Yes, sorry I'm British and working in Greece.

My question was does the home office check flights and movement. Not sure if psychic powers are needed but thanks for your reply anyway:-)

Reason I ask is although I'm working in Greece and it's my centre of life, I will be travelling in and out of UK and visiting other EU countries with my wife.

Just don't want it to complicate my EEA application.

Can we assume you're intending to take the Surinder Singh route? The COL test relies on evidence of integration in the EU state..employment, registration, payment of tax, renting or owning property, learning the language etc. etc.
Brief visits outside of the country shouldn't be a problem for either of you.
