Hi,
I'm an Italian citizen and I'm going to be moving to the UK shortly to start a new job.

My fiancee' is an American citizen and will move to Europe in September, when we are going to get married in Italy.

I was wondering what's the procedure and how long it will take to bring her to the UK?

Travel together and present your marriage certificate to Immigration on reaching the UK border, which may be in France or Belgium if you don't fly. If you have them, wedding photographs or, possibly, video, would be good to have, as, less importantly, would your contract of employment and some payslips. Your wife will get an 'EEA Regulations' stamp in her passport, which provides six months assurance of legal employability to an employer.

There are other methods, but they are less convenient.

Once you arrive in the UK, your wife should immediately apply for a residence card.
