How long has he been dependent on you? Where has he been dependent on you (home country or in the UK only)? What proof of dependency do you have?

Is he dependent on you/your wife in some way?
If so how?
How long has he been dependent on you/your wife and where (which countries)?
Do you have supporting documentary proof of this?

Hi noajthan

He is a student here in UK for the last four years and somehow i manage to help him financially because he can't do work. we live in a same address since he came in Uk. and my wife is from Poland. we both have good jobs since day one.

Me and my brother are from pakistan .

I very much doubt your brother will qualify, unless he can show he was dependent on your wife when he lived in Pakistan .

@Obie,
Does the dependency have to be in the non-EEA country of origin? Or does it have to be in any non-UK country?

Secondly, is there a requirement that the person is dependent on the EEA citizen specifically or can dependency on the non-EEA spouse be just as adequate?

Can you guide us on the relevant legislation and case law on these points (for our education)?
