Family Permit - proof of finance?

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question regarding the family permit.

My husband (Australian) and me (German) submitted my EHIC, my proof of studies, my council tax form, certified copies of my passport/national ID/EHIC and his bank statements/passport plus our marriage certificate. Plus photos etc. documenting the relationship.

We didn't submit any proof of my finances – I'm a student. Should we have submitted my bank statements and everything? Will our application be rejected because of that?

Thanks!
anna
