I'm new here I am so glad to find this forum, I've been watching it for a while now and decided to ask my first question. Me and my husband are EEA nationals. We want to apply for PR along with our 4 children. My husband is a main applicant as since we came here in 2010 only he was and still is working. I am a housewife and taking care of our children at the moment. Now we are filling in the form and we got stuck on Section 5 As far as I understand me and our children are applying for PR as family members of my husband and we are all EEA nationals. The form is a little bit confusing, in section 5 page 28 question 5.2 they are asking whether me and our children are applying as family members. So in this case we do and therefore they ask to put the date of our sponsor entrance into UK. And here is a tricky bit for me because EEA nationals don't need a sponsor but since I have never been working here only my husband then is he my sponsor and should I put the date when he entered the UK? I appreciate every advice

To avoid confusion & jumbled responses, I have moved your question to its own thread (this one).

You are still going to have to apply as your husband's dependent (eg he as your "sponsor") as only he was actually exercising treaty rights (=work, self employed or studying/self sufficient both with CSI) for 5 consecutive years.

The only way you could apply for PR in your own right is if your husband was paying for comprehensive sickness insurance for you and you apply as "self sufficient".
