Apply for PR confirmation with no WRS?

Hi i have a question. My wife was A8 national and arrive in the UK in July 2010. She started to work in sep 2010 and did not register for WRS. it abolished in april 2011 and now 5 years have passed. Can she apply for PR?

can anybody also confirm if she need to provide bio-metrics as well

No, only non-EEA nationals need to submit their biometrics when applying for PR.
She can apply 5 years after the WRS was abolished - so could use a qualifying period from 1/5/11-1/5/16 for example if she worked continuously during that period.

Has wife been exercising treaty rights since 2011
And any prolonged absences from UK (since then)

Yes she has been working all time. only left country 3 times for holiday. that was almost 1 week per time

All good. PR may have been acquired automatically as early as May 2016 then.
Good documentary supporting evidence will be required in order to back up the application for confirmation of PR.

My friend is in the same boat, he started working on 01/01/2010 but no WRS means he only became PR on 01/05/2016, so I have wrotten in the additional info one the form make sure they don't look at the period berofe May 2011 as it is no needed. Fingers crossed they send him his PR soon.
