Hi

One of my friend is asking to apply for British passport for his child.

He is EU citizen and living here from last 7 years.

His child born here.

My question is:

How can he apply for British passport for his child?

Do he need to go for PR first.

If child was born after his 5th years of Exercising Treaty rights, then no need to apply for PR first, as child is British at Birth.

All that needs to be done, is provide copy of p60 for the 5 years preceding the birth of the child..
