UK Resident Card

Dear,
I'm currently have a UK Resident Card that expire on 2020, but my husband (Spanish Citizen) was transfer to Spain for 8 month to work, his assigment is about to end, and I have been living out of the UK for more than 5 months.
My question is, if my UK resident Card will still valid or do I have to start the process all over again (apply for a new visa & Resident card) before my return.
