Marriage certificate question

Hi, I'm about to submit my EEA2(FM) application, and have included originals of all required documents except marriage certificate, I have included photocopy of the marriage certificate (did true copy check service at post office), is that alright or original marriage certificate is a must please?

You need the original. In Fact you have cross the HO red line.

A certified copy of your marriage certificate should be accepted.

I would submit the original so not to give the CW an excuse to delay your application.

Having read through the instructions to Case Workers I have to agree with yourself and Wise.
Certified copies of documents
This page tells you the requirements for a document confirming a right of residence
under the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006 (as amended).
Passports and identity (ID) documents must be originals. Copies of these documents
will not be accepted.
Other documents, such as marriage or birth certificates should be originals, as
photocopies cannot be accepted unless there are valid reasons for not being able to
provide the original document.
In these circumstances, you can accept a copy certified by:
• the body or authority which issued the original
• a legal representative
All documents not in English must be accompanied by an official English translation.
If the applicant cannot submit these documents because they are being held by
another department within Home Office, you must make arrangements with the
relevant department to have them sent to you.
