Hi everyone,
I applied for a UK residence card as an unmarried partner of a polish national. The application was made few months ago and we are still awaiting a decision. In the application form we stated that we are in recipient of just our child benefit. After the application was made my sponsor/partner have started receiving additional benefits (child tax credit and working tax credit). The questions are: 1. How will this affect our application? 2. Do we need to report this change of circumstances (income) to the home office?

Your response as always been and will be very much appreciated
Thank you all in advance

You partner should be claiming tax credits in joint names. Is she?

its all in joint names. although i'm not claiming anything we realised it all has to be in joint names because we live together and they need to have an idea what our total income is. so yes is in joint names. Thanks for the reply

If your joint income is being considered then it may be prudent to advise that this has increased.

As your EEA sponsor, how is your partner exercising her Treaty rights :?:

She works full time. But she's on maternity leave at the moment. How do you suggest we update HO of this development. Some kind of form somewhere or just handwriting letter?0

By letter if you have a reference number related to your application.
