Hello everyone,

I made an application March this year for a residence permit as a family member of an eea national exercising treaty right in the country which was refused because they said the company where my eea national works haa been closed meanwhile it was still running because my eea national still works there.
I was giving a right to appeal which I did since September but till now, I have not heard anything from the home office. Am thinking of going through my MP but I don't know how to do this please I need help the anxiety is killing me. I don't even know how long an appeal last

Dont worry too much, if your other half is still working an excercising his treaty rights, then just wait, the ball is in their half we can say.
My wife is in the same situation, they refused the application saying that I wasn't exercising my treaty rights, so, she is going to sign at the police headquarters where we live, every month, even we forgot to go last month, mean time, I sent a new application on the 12th of this month, I know they received it two days later, but still money not been taken, so we are relax really, we even had an interview at the police station three months ago, and they said and were convinced that we were a genuine couple.
So don't worry too much, wait and see what happens
