Hi,

my question is that to apply for PR what dates matter? the date from the start of marriage or the date when one get his EEA family visa?

My situation is as follow;

1. I am a non-eu citizen who got married on 30th june 2012 but i did not applied for visa as i already had PSW visa valid untill dec 2013. .

Therefore, i applied for my visa in dec 2013 and obtained my EEA residence card in April 2014.

later on we got divorced in 25 february 2016 and obtained retained rights cards in 10 sep 2016.

Now, when am i eligible for my PR rights is it going to be;

30 june 2017 or april 2019

Kind Regards

Z.Ali

Depends on your activity since divorce.

if you have been exercising treaty rights continuously (and kept your absences from UK within prescribed limits) since then then it could be as early as June 2017.
