Hi All,

I am new to this Site, I really need help desperately.

I am of French Nationality. I live in the UK now since 2006 I was a student & now for about 8 years been working Full time, I moved to England with my family.

I got married from Pakistan 2 months ago, my spouse has only the Pakistani Nationality. She has done her TB test & waiting for the English Exam next month.

I need guidelines or a check list for my process on how to get my wife over to live with me.

I have many websites with details on how to apply all have different information which is confusing me.

Can anyone help? is that enough info?

Kind Regards,

Get up to speed on free movement here:
http://ec.europa.eu/justice/citizen/doc ... 013_en.pdf

Wife applies for FP: https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/overview
(no TB test or English required)

Wife travels to UK to join you.

Assuming you are a qualified or settled person (in EU context), wife applies for optional RC:
https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-a-uk-resid ... d/overview

As simple as that.

Thank you for reply, your help is much appreciated.

Just have few questions, once I have gathered all the information I need to submit where do I send the application in Pakistan or here? or both?

Regards,
Apply online for the FP; it will tell you where to send docs to support application.

Apply for RC when in UK. And send to address on form.

I am gathering all the info now, just one concern.

I live with my Parents, my Mother is working part time and getting help with rent etc....if I show the residency on the application as my parents house which is on rent and the Council clearly states in the paper work that I do not affect the claim or benefit from it.

My question is will this cause an issue? There are enough rooms space etc... and they are not giving full rent for the house anyway.

Many thanks .
